I heard “Jeepster” by Marc Bolan and T. Rex on the radio today (and multiple times before but not recently), and it’s just so ecstatic! It musically and lyrically celebrates the excitement of being in love and not only that, it also cheerfully compares the perfection of a woman with the perfection of a Jaguar automobile, a symbol of and product of the ideal system: capitalism.
